Hi,

Underfloor heating is not working.

Hoping for some advice and would a normal plumber be able to do this work.

Have three controls, hallway, kitchen and lounge, when turn on hallway everything works fine, then shuts down after 5 - 10 min, likewise with kitchen control, with living room control nothing happens, however this morning it did kick in for 3 min then shut down.

If I try and re-start after shutdown nothing happens at all.

Have rads upstairs and all is working fine along with hot water.

Thanks for reading.

A Plumber might struggle with the electrical aspects of this task, an electrician might also struggle with the hydronic aspects of the task
What you need is a HEATING SERVICE ENGINEER ( quite a different trade to plumbing and electrician) ;)

What do you mean by"it kicks in for 3 minutes"?
Do you mean the boiler fires?

Turn off the other zones so you can see the effects of just the UFH calling for heat.
Can you upload a photo of your UFH manifold?

Yes sorry by kicking in I mean boiler fires

I have turned off other zones, heating is supplied to underfloor heating zones for 5-10 min then pump stops working / all shuts down.

Unable to upload picture at min, as out, but can do later

Thank you for replying (all)
