Why the hell should he?

Well you're the one who said he donated profits from his book to a worthy cause - and I'm still waiting for you to substantiate that statement.

I don't care how people dress

His dress is exactly that - it's a costume designed to back up his pretence to be an anarchist

The man doesn't have an original idea in his head and has nothing constructive to say

He reminds me of Wolfie Smith - all slogans and no action

As ever he's entitled to his view - I don't understand why he is given a huge platform to spout from. He appears to be another champagne socialist - power to the people just before he swans off to his luxury pad in either London or LA

Sorry Pete, but Brand comes across as a pretty unsavoury character and typical multi-millionaire, class-warring hypocrite. Also, I still haven't forgiven the weasel for what he did to Manuel.

Reflects badly on the criticizers, I'd like to know why they are so cross

Why does criticising him reflect badly on the criticisers?
Are we all supposed to be in awe of his profound take on the world?

And what makes you think that I'm cross? - I'm merely not agreeing with him!

To be honest, there are much more important things in the world to get cross about - RB doesn't even get close to making my list of things to get cross about!

The main issue I have with him, is that he detracts from the causes he claims to support (although I can't find much evidence of him actually doing anything about them) - instead of the story being about the cause it turns into a story about him and achieves nothing.

the problem here is not the dislike for brand but the excessive vitriol and the seeming not in proportion sheer hatred
i understand he has been a bit off an arssee in his life but he is a individual rather than a clone
if he was a rapist murderer or pure evil i would understand the hatred but i am sure he is a complexed but not evil person
to me its not brand thats out off control but the the level off hatred from some critics in the media in general and possibly from some on here

Look at the modern media, how often do you see boring dry but knowledgeable specialists. More often you see opinionated loudmouths, rather than sensible but less entertaining professionals.

What we really need is a state funded media organisation to ensure high standards are maintained, something for the British people that broadcasts these programmes, nah, far to crazy.
