Hi

When it rains the water is coming in underneath our front door frame. the front door frame butts up level against the concrete below it and so the water is coming in through the gap betwen the frame and the concrete.

In the long term we will need to replace the frame and front door but need a fix to this for the next 6 months or so. Do I silicone the join between the frame and concrete or is there another solution I should be following that does not involve taking the door frame out?

Thanks for your help in advance

As above just seal it.
Make sure the frame is clean first or the silicone wont stick well.

If your not very handy with a silicone gun I would recommended masking taping both edges 1st and removing once sealed for a neat line.

Thanks both. Will give it a go and keep fingers crossed.
