If I could physically do it then I'd do it without problem.

And whilst i'm up there I'd chop the top antenna off & put a rotator and a HF Yagi there instead lol.

the heights no problem,its the last couple of feet before you hit the ground,NOW THATS THE PROBLEM.

fair play to the guy must have balls of steel.
but im with brigadier on this aswell.
 
Can you imagine if he dropped the lamp whilst trying to exchange it?
Rather him than me, anything over six foot off the ground, my little legs start shaking.

Could be worse, he could have got to the top and found he had forgotten the bulb. Or the new bulb was duff. :LOL:
 
I wonder how long those bulbs last. Longer than mine, I hope.
 
They are not light bulbs, they contain xenon gas, so they are called flashing beacons, it is illegal to change one unless you are registered gas safe engineer.
Now we know why they charge an arm and a leg. if you get your appliance serviced twice a year, you lose both arms and legs and left with just buttocks! :LOL:
