Whirlpool GU1200XTLSO stops mid-cycle

My Whirlpool dishwasher (Model # GU1200XTLSO) stops mid-cycle, then the \\\'cancel\\\' light comes on, and the machine drains itself. Then, the \\\'clean\\\' light blinks, and continues to blink. At that point, there is no response to any of the buttons. A service man has been here several times, and has replaced the control board, and says that everything else \\\'checks out,\\\' including drains. Any ideas? Thanks, in advance.

I have read where, in your case, it was either the control board or the console assembly causing this problem. I believe there was a service bulliten on this very problem. Since the control board was changed, my hunch would be the console assembly. Maybe someone else can provide more details.
