Every building site I've worked for years now has been CCS registered and this sort of behaviour certainly wouldn't be tolerated.

They must have a lot of free time to stand around gorping at passing pedestrians.

...THUGS who attacked two men on a train moments after it left Stourbridge Junction station have been jailed.

At Wolverhampton Crown Court on Monday October 12, Judge Amjad Nawaz told Anthony Hannay and Ian Merrett it was "disgraceful" behaviour and added: "It is only good fortune that no-one was seriously injured."

He said 22 year old Hannay was aggressive as he verbally abused Michael Powell, one of the passengers, simply because he had "looked at him."

The Judge said 23-year-old Merrett was then the first to throw a punch at Mr Powell who had done nothing wrong adding: "Loutish behaviour like this is sadly becoming all too common."... The two men who both have previous convictions involving violence were told by the Judge it was clear they were drunk when they boarded the train with a number of other people.

Judge Nawaz said: "Neither of you is a man of good character. You both have convictions for violence and you were both on bail when you committed this offence."... You can say that again m'lud !

"Meanwhile new laws could see wolf-whistling builders placed on the sex offenders register. The Sexual Offences (Scotland) Bill will create a new offence of "communicating indecently", punishable by up to 10 years in jail."

The builders and rough necks who do the tough jobs have gone by the time you arrive on site so you might not any see anyone "communicating indecently" that you could report to police for prosecution and placing on the sex offenders register.

He said he put himself forward to take the flak from his mates.
Did he even do any whistling?
We don't know.
That bird has a face on her like thunder. When she passes 40 no one will whistle any rode.
So she can look forward to that.

A lot of the comments here show why a woman might find it difficult to approach the builders to complain.

Following on from the comment on the CSCS scheme ,

Let's be fair, is there really anyone around now that isn't aware that this is deemed unacceptable?

If so ,then they should be punished for stupidity as much as anything !

None this is PC, it's just basic good manners .

I seem to remember that Kenny Everett used to get heckled when he walked past a local building site but it was all done in the best possible taste.
