My Hoover HCA6 150 washing machine just developed a leak. It is 18 months old. The leak does not come from a hose or the drum seal but comes out of a small moulded-in hole in the plastic outer drum! The plastic has a number of moulded in 'blind' holes but this one is just above the water line and you can see through it. As the inner drum turns to wash water is splashed out through this hole!

Have I misunderstood something here? Surely there should not be a hole in the back of the drum? Was there a plug or something in this hole or did the plastic fail over time? Weird!

Any advice on how to stop this would be appreciated

Thanks
