Macerator installation

Thinking of fitting macerator unit. Any problems to look out for.?
Anyone got any comments or suggestions??

They are fine. Ours has been working ok for 15 years now. Better if you can arrange not to need it, otherwise perfectly ok.
The only problem we have is with limescale buildup which prevents the motor stopping. A litre of industrial descaler sorts that quickly.

Don't ferget to put an non switched spur on the electric supply. You don't want to switch it off and find out in the middle of the night. :p
