Postscript software?

Hi all

Looking for a post script program (not to expensive) that does the same as the old Acrobat Distiller. Need it to reduce costs on Print-on-Demand project.

any one?

not sure what that does, but i used distiller to make pdf files.

you can get a free pdf writer on the web, one i have is free if you acept the ads, but i am not sure if that is what you are looking for

I've tried some of the free pfd writers, but that's not the type of (sophisticated) post script software the print-on-demand printing company is asking for to use to provide the script 'digital print-ready'. They can do it for me, at a price of course. Perhaps that's the only way (I know Adobe has the kind of program I need, but over £ 400 is a bit OTT at the moment for me)

Hmm, don't think I'm looking for 'manual' codes to be imbedded in my files. Sorry pip, not for me (too complicated!)
