I am re-doing the kitchen in my coffee shop and have a problem with waste pipes. A coffee machine and wash hand basin run into 40mm waste pipe which runs along a wall for about 3.5m and then goes into what measures as 60mm waste pipe. There is also a double sink which has to be removed but the waste outlets go into this 60mm pipe. I need to replace the T joints and put in straight connections as there are base units going in here and simply capping at some point in the waste trap encroaches on the unit space. The problem I am having is that I can't find 60mm waste pipe or fittings anywhere. Any ideas?

Is it cast Iron, 2" bore?!

WHatever, there are rubber tube adaptors with jubilee clips at the ends which seem to cover everything around the sizes you need (eg odd lead sizes too)

Look what I found - send me money now, I accept paypal

50mm waste pipe has an OD of 55mm. Is this the pipe?
It looks like this is the one. I cut a section a short while ago and the internal measurement is approx 50mm. I didn't realise that sizes were given on internal diameters. You learn something new every day. Thanks to all who replied.

Plastic waste pipe sizes are "nominal" and typically relate more to the bore (ID) than the OD. I agree it's confusing, especially since not all 40mm or 32mm pipes have the same OD! And for good measure copper pipe and plastic pressure pipe is referred to by the OD. You should be able to find 50mm pipe and fittings on the BES site that ChrisR linked to.

Thanks. I have located a local supplier that supplies the waste pipe and fittings I require. I'm very impressed with the response.
