Zanussi FJR 1454 W Leaving Yellow Spots on Clothing

Hi,

We are finding small yellow stains on our clothes when we wash at lower washes such as delicate and handwash. These stains won't then come out with any measure of washing. I was wondering whether it could be some leak of grease from the motor getting into the drum. Any ideas?

the motor is external so can't leak grease into the drum. more likely the bearing seal has failed (bearings too or will shortly) and the grease from the bearings is getting onto the clothes.

Possibly rust spots caused by as mentioned above damaged grease seal.
detergent soon washes out any grease and then the bearings begin to rust. Does the machine make more noise than it used to? A sure sign of imminent bearing failure!
