This washing machine is only 2 years old and it's giving me a problem. When i put it on regular or any wash cycle the dial does not move into rinse or spin without me doing it manually. It will just keep on the wash cycle until I change it. Could this be the timer is broken and if so is it easy to replace? thanks

If your timer has quit advancing, it sounds like a bad timer contacts or a bad timer motor. Either way, you will have to replace it. It is not a tough job but not a cheap one neither. Basically, remove the screws in the console and flip the bottom console back. You may have plastic endcaps that you will have to take off to reveal the screws. If your timer has separate wires running from the timer do them one at a time to save confusion. Of course, unplug the washer first.

Your information was very helpful, we are going to attempt it over the weekend.
