I have an Aquatronic 3 shower. When it is switched on the majority of the water is coming through a small overflow pipe (pressure relief device) at the bottom of the shower and not reaching the shower head.

What is causing this problem ?
Is there a simple solution to fix it ?

Thanks.

Not familiar with aquatronic, but most Triton prvs are a small plastic part with a membrane with is designed to fail if the shower water path becomes partially blocked.

Most likely causes for this are a scaled head or a twisted hose (the hidden rubber sleeve within the chrome outer). There could also be excessive scale in the heat exchanger but the former is more likely.

You could clear the blockage and then replace the PRV, available from Triton on line.
