I am going to have a new suite fitted in the bathroom in a house that I have just bought. The toilet at the moment appears to have a downpipe that comes out of the floor. Do I need to buy a special toilet for this? I have been looking around on the internet for suites and have come across a good deal, but it have a note saying that this toilet connects to a standard uk pipe through the wall and is not available in a version that connects through the floor.
Can anyone advise me on this please, will it be possible to plumb any toilet in?
