Copper all the way, don't forget the long term cost of plastic - when a blows a joint 
Remember to bin all the rad valves with these heating packs - you only get cheap rubbish. Some of the boiler models are not available through normal merchant channels- some appear to grey imports - can be a problem when it comes to repairs/backup.

I saw a VERY odd new boiler being sold on Ebay for about £150.
Asked the seller where he got it but he did not reply.
Nothing about it in the UK on the web at all !
Made in Russia with a picture of a "boiler shop" where the Russian housewife presumably goes shopping to buy a boiler.
