Hello!

I recently replaced my en-suite bathroom suite. I noticed that the hot and cold feeds for the basin in were taken from the hot and cold from the bath in the next room. I kept this arrangement but altered the length of the pipes in order to move the basin in the en-suite. Since doing this the bath now takes ages to fill. What have i done to cause this as the only pipe work i altered was in the en-suite??

Cheers in advance

Tom

Its going to be you have fitted ceramic disc taps which have much smaller holes through which the water runs through than washer taps

they are designed for high pressure supplies not (as i suspect you have) to be feed from a cold water storage cistern.

sorry they look nice but are sh1t

I have replaced the taps in the ensuite but not in the bathroom where the flow rate has dropped. Would this still cause the loss of pressure?
