hotpoint sdw80, super silent dishwasher, display fault

i have a hotpoint ultima sdw 80 super silent dishwasher, model num sdw80t, serial num 36708197. i had a problem a few weeks ago when the main display went off, there was a smell of burning coming from near the display. i removed the cover and found a PCB board to the left of the display which had a large burn mark on it, i thought i had found the problem. i ordered a new PCB board and fitted now the display backlight just comes on and then goes off randomly. could the burnt board caused the display to be faulty. please help any ideas

It's possible that the main module is damaged, too.

Don't suppose there were any instructions with the display PCB, did it need configuring?

it was the pcb board next to display that i changed. no there were no instructiuons with new pcb
Where is the main module situated? it that the display?
