GASFIRE INSERT INSTALL HELP NEEDED.

I want to get ready my gas fire insert install ready for gas man to come and install it,my prob is that the hole for insert is 50-60mm each side to big,so brickin it up would be no good,would it be ok to uesd an wood frame all around hole and screw fire insert to it.am worryied about heat from the fire.

Sorry, but no flammable materials can be used, so the wood frame is a no no I'm afraid. Your installer would just have to take it out. I'd give him a call and talk about it and get him to look at it first. There's nothing worse than getting to a job all tooled up and ready to go and finding you can't start the job.
