Silly question maybe...but how does one get the draw out? I cant get it out and am reluctant to force it out. Is there a secret clasp or something?

Hi,

Pull the drawer out to its full extent, lift up slightly, and wriggle it out. Mop up spilled water. Repeat in reverse to refit.

We have the black mould too (in our four-year-old or so Bosch), you just have to clean it out as advised. I now measure the soap powder and just chuck it directly into the drum. I don't like fabric softeners so I don't use it, I put a few drops of Zoflora in the dispenser section of the drawer.

I think you can use bicarb with the hot but empty clean-out wash. Or was it soda? Or salt? I dunno, try Google.

Rgds.

You might find that you can push a bit of plastic down, behind the fabsoft, to release a latch.

Alternatively, use the RTFM technique.
