I had a 407695 come in the other day

It looks identical to a 407677 (profile), but why the different number

Does anyone have an idea ?

It couldn't get more relevant, but I'm not allowed to write the idea on the forum.

Its not a manufacturs part number...at least not for a uk boiler.

This is where I have a problem

on top of the case instead of 407677, it reads 407695, exactly the same typeface etc

I am probably wrong but i think that is the pcb for a sime superior (which is a profile with a sime badge on it)

The 407677 is for the Prima. and the Profile.

Ask if you don't know.
