hi,

please could some one help me my pilot light will not light.
when we moved here a year ago the previous owner had turned everything off. needless to say there was not any instructions apart from the ones on the back of the panel.
we had the same problem trying to light the pilot light then, but got it going by sheer luck.
it has been fine but three days ago i noticed the pilot light had gone out, and after following the instructions we still haven't managed to light it.
we hold the button in and press the ignition it lights we keep the button in for at least a minute when we let it go slowly it goes straight out. :(

the obvious thing would be the thermocouple but thats assuming the pilot flame is a good size and positioned over the TC correctly.

also that there's no overheat interuption

call out a competent corgi engineer
