Have an old Ideal Standard Low Level WC with a ceramic syphon - the metal rod which lifts the diaphragm has sheared so it won't flush.

The cistern outlet for the syphon to the flush pipe is larger than required for modern plastic syphons - does anyone Know of a reliable adaptor/reducer that would enable me to replace the Ceramic syphon with a more up to date plastic one? ( I've tried locating a replacement ceramic syphon without success)

Have tried to get a new rod made to same design but it's such a small job that no one with a capstan lathe seems interested .
