Have jsut bled a radiator and used the key with a little to much force. The nut end has sheered off leaving a flat surface.

What is the best way of removing the piece of screwed in nut? can a new one be picekd up from a particular shop?

any help appreciated

unfortunately there are different size bleed screws .......tho` a lot of them are in a larger nut that is half inch BSP thread..a picture will be ideal if you can post one

long nose pliers might get it out. otherwise you might have to drill it out and re-thread it. or get a new rad. (thats if the entire valve fitting cant easily be removed)
