My Zanussi Washer/Dryer will not Dry

My Zanussi Washer Dryer will not dry. The clothes remain wet and get very hot (Steamed) and smell of old smelly stagnent water after every wash. The filter element at front is clear on visual inspection and all the water seems to drain away after each wash. Please can anyone help?????

Inlet valve for the condenser not opening?

Excellent...Thanks for your advice 'Sleepyhead'. Is this something I could tackle and repair as a novice? Or would it be best to get a professional in and if so what sort of cost could I expect to be charged?

It's a bit fiddly to change out but if you remove the lid you can check it.
At the rear of the dispenser body there should be removable plug, take it out, plug the machine in and set it to dry, if there's water coming in you'll see it there.
If there is water coming in then you have a blocked condenser, lot more difficult to tackle.
No idea on prices though.
