height of bath

Can anyone tell me what height from the floor the top of the bath should be when fitted.

the floor or walls are not tiled yet, and i want to fit the bath in.

I ask this question so when i come to fit bath panels, which i dont have yet. i dont encounter problems with the height.

20 inch floor to bath rim .. allow extra for floor tiles extra 25 mm ..
 
My new Liberty bath specifies a floor to top-of-bath height of 545 mm, or about 21.5 inches.
 
mmm you really need the panel me thinks most of the baths i fit 20 inch .. but by the look of things they differ slightly .. sorry for the duff info . :(

Bath heights vary dependent on the bath panel simply measure the intended panel then make the bath the appropriate height.
 
I am just about to fit a Liberty Bath, and I have just worked out that the thickness of the WBP board + tiles + panel = height to U/S of bath rim. We will soon see whether I am right!!!!

On a different note, Prof Plumb - I am pleased to see you are Leicester based, do you know any good places to get reasonably cheap showers from?? The style I am after is -

It seems asthough the design I am after starts at about £300, but if I go for the parts it will be as low as £120.

Showers in Leicester (Cheap) try somewhere like Best buy on kent street of humberstone road. Dont go to poachins or plumb centre they are very expensive.
