Can anyone give me some advice on my very noisy Powermax 155X boiler unit?
I have just moved into a 5 year old house and it is fitted with one of these units. It does sometimes "lockout" but from what I have read this is a common problem.
The main issue is that every time the timmer kicks in it generates a loud wiring noise. This noise can be heard in every room in the house even when the doors are closed. It is so loud that I have to stop the boiler working at night as it wakes us up.

Is this a common issue for this boiler?
Can I do anything to reduce the noise ?
Any suggestions?

The boiler is already in an airing cupboard upstairs behind a door.

Kind regards
