depedns on humidity of room, wait till it all turns the same pale pink
dnt forget to use unibond either, otherwise you will have to put about 100 coats on as the new plaster absorbs the paint
dont see the need for unibond,mist coating should suffice

Not a good idea to use unibond or pva if your going to be painting. Two mist coats one thinned down matt about 25%, second about 15%, then two full coats. Should be fine.
