Paint stains on clothes

Hi there - I'm having a nightmare, walked into a shop being re-painted to pick up a set of keys - didn't realise until I got home that I'd brushed past something with paint on it - and now my black suit trousers have a white paint stain on them - not sure if it's emulsion or gloss - I think it's gloss as it didn't come off in the wash!! They are washable trousers.

Help please.

Take them to a good dry cleaners, point out the paint stain and ask if they can be sent to the Stain Removal lab. Say you have washed them (this may have made it worse).

The large chains have specialists who have all the solvents to remove common stains.

A small independent with a machine on the premises will probably not have the skills to do it.

mmh - my mum said I'd probably made the stain worse.....thanks JohnD - much appreciated - will take them to a Sketchley and see what happens.
