Potterton PTT2 boiler Stat

hi can someone please help!

i have fitted a new ptt2 stat for the old one which was a ppt1 i hav fitted it and it still wont turn the pilot light on the boiler down stairs and on the stat it says it under temp so it shud kick in but it dont ! does anybody know why or something i can check

Please note forum rule 7

The green light should come on when its calling for heat. It needs a neutral - did you wire it correctly?

the light is showing it has not got up to temp!
