Ravenheat boiler wont light!

Hi

Can anybody help me? My Boiler (a Ravensheat combi boiler) has been left for one week switched on but not used for heating or hot water, i have switched the heating today and it wont light up.

The fan comes on, and it makes all the usual noises, i can hear a spark ticking but it doesnt light. after 30 seconds the light (Flame)on the control unit lights up and then it stops.

I have tried to call my plumber but he cant make it till thursday, can anyone offer any advise.

Flame failure. Are you sure no one has knocked the gas off by mistake.
What model is it?

yes i have checked the gas mains, i think its a csi 85 combi bolier

Turn on the hot tap. Does this light the burner ?

no, it still doesnt light, and the water runs cold

And theres deffo money on the meter

Gas valve functions need checking then.
Corgi job I'm afraid unless you can work a manometer and a multimeter

First check the pressure in the system (1 to 1.5 bar) if not top up.

thanks, the pressure was low so i topped it up to just over 1

i dont know what a manometer and a multimeter are!! so ill have to get someone out thanks guys.
