tiling pattern

ok, so ive got some large oblong tiles for the bath room, i quite like the brickwork way of tiling a wall rather than the conventional way, is it much harder and is there any drawbacks ?

Takes a bit more time, you will have cut half tiles at external corners and may end up with smaller slithers in the corners.

as jase said dont try to get slithers of tiles
use a measuring battern ,
and position some up on the wall ,
an if married let your wife have the final say on the design ..ALWAYS ...
