Good Morning :)

Im painting a bathroom wall and have rubbed down the previous coat as it was a bit rough and lumpy and of coarse, it has exposed a sanded patchy wall. My question is must I use an eggshell paint or can I use the matt emulsion that I am using everywhere else? Should I prepare the walls at all, as in an undercoat?

Regards

You dont have to use eggshell..Depends on how steamy it gets in there, though if I do use eggshell I use dulux trade quick drying eggshell... I dont like the kitchen& bathrooms stuff. I use matt emulsion or soft sheen quite often in peoples bathrooms.. If the wall has bare plaster showing prime these areas first with a thinned emulsion. then two coats of matt/soft sheen.

good luck
