gas hob and gas oven fitting

morning all

sorry if this sounds daft but iam just begining to plan a new kitchen....

what i really need to know is..

is it possible to fit a gas hob and oven to one gas outlet? is there an adapter etc i can purchase etc

depends on the gas supply pipe diameter
