IMI POWERMAX 135 CENTRAL HEATING BOILER

the burner on this boiler has started to work intermittently, ie the burner switches on for about 10 seconds and then off for about 20 seconds and keeps repeating
Any suggestions what is causing this

I would suggest its a combustion linked fault that needs a CORGi engineer to investigate and diagnose.

Has it ever been serviced anually as the manufacturers expect?

sounds like electrode is not sensing the flame
