Hi, I am soon to have the heat exchanger renewed on my glow worm 24 ci combi boiler ( hw running hot and cold every few seconds) and reading on the forum this seems to be a common problem with scaling. I think it might be a good idea to flush through and then refill the system with de-ionised water (about £11 for 30 litres) and then add an inhibitor as well. my question is... does this idea make sense and how much water will a boiler and 5 medium sized rads take.
thanks, Jocojohn

Just add a quality inhibitor adding de ionised water is like bathing in Perrier water.
