RAVENHEAT CSI 85

Boiler is getting up to temperature and going off on high limit.
When both hot water and heating stats are off and boiler is set to heating/hot water or just hot water.
It appears to just bypass boiler stats,also neon for burner doesnt come on and it does work.
Looks to me like gas valve or pcb, and i've no manual.
Would appreciate any help folks, or it's on the blower to ravenheat on tuesday..

If the water is at temperature then the high limit stat goes off then that points to the high limit stat being oversensitive.

If the water is getting too hot you have to figure out why its getting too hot.
Thermistors go a lot on these but the normally fail safe rather than let the water get too hot.

Think i may have miss led you in earlier message.
When boiler is run on hot water mode only, no taps open.
Boiler comes on and overheats eventually releasing pressure relief valve and then shutting boiler off in high limit mode.
Turning hot water stat off doesnt turn burner off, during this..

On the head of your diverter valve hidden inside a small black box, there is a microswitch which is stuck in the on position.
