Hi. Does anyone have experience of american faucets in Uk? The connection at the end of the tap tails, is different to the british taps i had in previous. I have asked at local DIY store and they don't have a clue! I think the are 1/2 inch, which equates to 12mm ?? What do I need to buy to connect these to the existing flexible water pipes.....any ideas please!!!

You may well have to drill and so some soldering to adapt them to whats available here.

To be sure they are not available then take your US parts to the B&Q and ask their "plumber" to see what they have to fit them.

In Cricklewood the "plumber " knows nothing about plumbing but he does speak very good Arabic as he went to school in Bagdad.

Kev is correct, they`ll be npt thread, you`ll be able to get a npt to bsp adapter from a branch of BSS or similar pipe stockists.
