central heating

I have a Potterton Flamingo 50 central heating boiler and woke up this morning freezing.
The pilot is not lit and will not stay lit.The pump seems to be running--only the humming noise--please help anyone out the--there!!!

Easy if you're a boiler bloke. If you get everything wrong you catch fire and explode and die and things, though.

I am getting a boilerman to do it--only that I did not wish to be overcharged as you may expect at times
