glossing doors and frames

I recently did some decorating for friends and grossly under estimated the time factor.The wallpapering,emulsioning and skirtings was all fine but glossing the doors and frames took ages,I just used a brush and was told by my wifes uncle to try a rad roller and feather off with a brush.
I just wondered if anyone had any quick methods they might like to share.

Hi, there's no quicker way to paint frames but if the door is flat or only has a couple of panels it is quicker to use a mini roller. Make sure to lay it off if you dont want the roller texture.
