Hi there

Today I have had part of my wall replastered (1 meter from the bottom up), with limelite plaster (due to a leak) I had all the old plaster taken out back to the brick work, left for a week before replastering.
I have been told I wont be able to decorate for 2 months. Is this true?
Any tips, such as how long I have to wait and what type of paint to use would be great.
Cheers all. ;)

My understanding is cos if painted to early then this can cause the paint to dis-colour etc.......

need to mist coat it from what i've read on other posts.. watered down emulsion, 4 parts paint to 1 part water..

sounds about right since this is what they do on those DIY SOS programes and the like...

by "decorate" i think they mean wallpaper since the paste "seals" the wall and traps any moisture inside..

emulsion paint is water based is it not? so allows the plater to dry out..
