The ceiling is damp stained - but has been certified dry. The artex has never been painted. Can I put dulux stain block plus directly onto the unpainted artex and then emulsion or is there another(correct) procedure. Ta John

Personally id use a thinned out coat of undercaot...not sure if stain block will stick.

Yep, it will work the Zampa way. Though if you are gona use Dulux Stain Block Plus (Which is a great Paint made by Dulux), then i would emulsion your cieling and let dry and then coat with two coats Dulux Stain Block Plus. Also, i would use a radiator roller to apply the Dulux Stain Block Plus.

thanks again guys. Third eye (or Z !)- as the artex has never seen emulsion, should I dilute the matt emulsion.
