Hi,

Most of the en-suite in my new house is tiled but there are a couple of walls that are only half-tiled and I want to paint over the ghastly green that's there now!

Can I just just the one-coat matt emulsion I'm using in the bedroom or do I need a special paint (I've seen kitchen and bathroom paint somewhere)?

If I do use the emulsion - what would happen?

dont waste your money on kitchen/bathroom paint .
that was invented so paint companies could charge more.

ok it may be more protective but
u can use normal emulsion although i wouldnt use any '1 coat' rubbish.

Cheers Andy!

That's kind of what I thought!

I don't know why I keep buying one-coat - I don't think I've ever successfully painted a wall with just one coat!!

You wanna be using silk or soft sheen for a bathroom, not matt.
"gcol" you forgot to add in the word Vinyl, lol. Silk Emulsion is an different quality of emulsion from Vinyl Silk. Same with Soft Sheen. So, make sure your chioce of paint reads "Vinyl Silk or Vinyl Soft Sheen", Rant over, hehe.

bugger - I was just hoping to use the leftover matt but agree it needs to be silk.

Thanks all!
