Hi folks

This may be a stupid question to ask, but i'll ask it anyway. I'm going to tile the kitchen floor (currently lino) and put a new kitchen in while i'm at it (as you do), would you tile the whole of the floor first or would you tile up to and around the units (i.e. put the kitchen in first)?

Thanks

Kev

As you have to find the middle of your room and work outward I would definately fit the kitchen 1st and tile up to the units It would give a uniform finish to you room

You put the tiles down on the whole floor, then fit the kitchen. The tiles will outlast a kitchen by far, so when it's time for a new kitchen if you have the tiles over the whole floor there's no problem with a slightly different layout. If you just tile under the kick boards, you're stuck with the same layout.

Do as Gcol says
tile first then fit kitchen

sorry just saw your a cumbria lad ,lol ?
