Have tried this post in building but with no result... trying again here.....
I need to replace these metalled windows at the rear of my bungalow. I am undecided on either Upvc or wood.
Do I need to fit some form of upright support between the current metalled door and window to then support the new replacements?
There is a lintel above running the length of the metalled unit. I intend bricking the sill up to a level that matches the rest of the house. I would need something to support a doorframe obviously but what would you pros suggest?
