Window Insulation Shrink Film- Help!!!!

I used something similar in the past to get me through the winter in a single glazed house. It is a bit fiddly to fit, but it does work quite well.
 
bought this at the weekend to cover the single glazed glass in my front door...looks nasty, but i've noticed a bit of an improvement.
 
It works pretty well as a cheap temporary solution. Not too difficult to apply either though you do need a heat gun or a 3kw fan heater.

I've used it in the past too - it certainly reduced draughts and seemed to make a difference...would have lasted longer if I hadn't had a cat though :rolleyes:
