im currenly have a 4" slab of concrete around my house, approx 150mm below the DPC. There is concrete blcoks below the DPC which are rendered, some of this has fallen off etc. Im now removing this slab of concrete as im having a side extension built, and eventually will be putting block paving down, probably with a small gap around the house filled with gravel.

Im not sure how deep the foundations are below this slab but could i cause any damage if i remove this slab and leave the block work in the ground uncovered for a few months. It gets very windy where i live.
