Hi
I would be grateful for some advice on hedging for front of my house; the hedge is mainly required for privacy and aesthetics.
Currently there is a low brick wall; about 2ft high, 3ft wide of single brick construction, about 30ft in length and planted out with a number of hardy annuals.
I would like any hedge that is planted to make approximately 6ft maximum, either plated in the wall or behind it. Would there be enough space for the roots if I planted in the wall?
I would like recommendation for the type of hedge; I had envisaged using native evergreen plants such as Box or Holly.
