hi all,
we have an area of our garden which is dense red soil, and i am planning on levelling it out and concreting it to stand my motorbike on, but this is not something i've done before. i work on building sites quite a lot and have asked a few people but they all tell me different things. i ahve also tried using an online calculator, but the outcome seems massive amounts of materials!!!
the area is roughly 7.25 sqm, will 100mm be deep enough? and waht sort of ratios ballast:cement and water will i need?
i have seen references to c20 and c35 mix, are these relevant?
i will also need to bolt in a ground anchor in one part so will this need any extra attention?
big appreciation if anyone can help an out of his depth sparky!!!
cheers
