Hi, I'm currently on the lookout for new double glazing (windows & doors) and was wondering whether anybody has has any experience with a company called tradewindowwarehouse who have premises based in both Newbury & Ascot Berkshire?

Thanks,
Craig

Can’t help you with a recommendation but be careful that you understand what’s involved with a DIY installation! The work IS notifyable so you must either use a FENSA registered installer or involve your LABC for inspection & certification (fee involved); without a certificate of compliance, you could have problems when you come to sell.

With quality, branded DG units (which no way compare with the carp the DIY sheds sell), a DIY install won’t necessarily save you much money; a good local installer will always be able to get branded units much cheaper than you can & when you consider that installation usually costs between £50 - £70 a unit, you won’t necessarily save much cash; but you will have all the aggravation of installing & the risk of getting it wrong!

I’m not in the trade by the way!
