Hi guys, i've just bought a garage that needs the floor sorting, and also leaks which needs rectifying.

Would self-levelling creed be suitable, even though the surface is mud?

And what is bes-proof the roof, I was thinking of using a waterproof felt.

Would appreciate any help, regards.

self levelling screed on top of mud won't last 2 minutes - it'll crack the first time you drive into the garage and will cost you a fortune.

You need to dig out the mud floor, lay down 4(?) inches of hardcore and then 4-6" of concrete.

You haven't said what the roof is currently or indeed how the garage itself is constructed (is it timber, brick, steel, etc?) - this will affect what the best choice is for re-roofing.
